Learn more about this product Softgel food supplement with concentrated and purified fish oil (1000 mg per capsule) containing essential unsaturated fatty acids (DHA and EPA). Fish oil is obtained from pelagic fish (mainly anchovies), obtained from sustainable fishing. Are you looking for a way to improve brain function? Do you want to ensure proper heart or eye function? Omega-3 fatty acids can help you take full care of your body. Reach for fish oil and see for yourself what benefits you can feel and notice. Fish oil is a source of omega-3 fatty acids and belongs to two types of fatty acids: eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). They are mainly found in fish, and in smaller quantities in other animal products or phytoplankton. They are important for the optimal functioning of individual systems. Omega-3 has a structural function in the body - it is a component of phospholipids, which form the structures of cell membranes. DHA is found, among other things, in the retina and brain. These acids also indirectly affect functions in the cardiovascular, respiratory, endocrine and immune systems. Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contributes to maintaining optimal brain function and also affects normal vision. It is believed that omega-3 fatty acids can protect against neurodegeneration in older people and reduce the risk of cognitive decline. Low intake of these acids can contribute to mood and psychotic disorders, among others. Studies have shown that they are a valuable support for the organ of vision for people working at a computer. They have a positive effect on the condition of the eyes, helping to reduce dryness. It has also been found that omega-3 consumption helps the heart and circulatory system function properly. These acids contribute to reducing triglyceride levels, which may play a role in reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. Omega-3 are essential fatty acids and therefore must be obtained from food. They are divided into ALA, i.e. α-linolenic acid (found in, for example, flaxseed oil, soybean oil, rapeseed oil and olive oil), and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), the sources of which are fatty fish (e.g. salmon, mackerel, tuna, herring and sardines). EPA and DHA are bioactive forms - in order for the body to benefit from ALA, it must be converted into EPA and DHA. However, this conversion is limited. Dietary supplements containing fish oil can be useful in ensuring optimal body function. Osavi's product is a specially formulated omega-3 fatty acid concentrate obtained from pelagic fish (anchovies) from sustainable fisheries in the Pacific Ocean. The supplement is manufactured and tested according to the GOED (Global EPA and DHA Omega-3 Organization) monograph, and the oil used in its production is certified by Friend of the Sea. Each capsule contains 1000 mg of purified fish oil and 2000 mg of oil in the recommended daily dose (2 capsules), including min. 700 mg of omega-3 fatty acids. The product has a high content of EPA (min. 360 mg) and DHA (min. 240 mg). Omega-3 Fish Oil 1000 mg is a softgel supplement that provides the essential fatty acids EPA and DHA.
