Vitamin D3 + K2, 2000IU + 100mcg - 60 softgels

Food supplement in softgel form with naturally derived vitamin D3 (Quali®-D) and highly bioavailable vitamin K2 (K2VITAL®), dissolved in coconut MCT oil. Vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones. Strong bones, a good immune system and healthy teeth? You can take care of these things and more by taking vitamins D3 and K2. How else can these substances help you? Why are they so important for your body? Get in touch and improve your condition today. Fat-soluble vitamins are essential for optimal functioning of the body. Among the most commonly supplemented compounds in this group are vitamin D and vitamin K. Together, they are responsible for maintaining healthy bones, among other things. Studies have shown that the combination of vitamin K and D can significantly increase overall bone mineral density (BMD) [1]. Vitamin K2 (MK-7) has also been shown to promote skeletal quality and strength, due to its high bioavailability, by influencing, among other things, collagen production and increasing BMD [2]. Vitamin K also contributes to normal blood clotting. Vitamin D helps maintain healthy teeth and muscles, supports the proper functioning of the immune system, is involved in the process of cell division and helps the body absorb calcium and phosphorus. Sufficient vitamin D has been shown to increase the absorption of calcium and phosphorus by approximately 30-40% and 80%, respectively. Disorders of calcium and phosphate metabolism negatively affect bone mineralization, which can increase the risk of osteoporosis or skeletal deformities [3]. Vitamin D is often called the sunshine vitamin because it is mainly obtained through skin contact with natural sunlight. There are two main types of this compound: vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) and vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol, the naturally occurring form of vitamin D3) - the latter being synthesized in the skin. Vitamin D deficiency is widespread and is thought to affect up to 50% of the population. This is due, among other things, to a lifestyle that limits exposure to UVB light and a diet lacking in fatty fish - vitamin D3 can be obtained by eating salmon, mackerel and herring, for example [3]. Vitamin K can be divided into phylloquinone (K1) and several forms of menaquinones, designated MK-4 to MK-13 (K2) [4]. Menaquinone-7 (MK-7) is the best absorbed form of vitamin K2, with proven stability and activity. It is involved in the regulation of calcium metabolism and, unlike K1, is used not only in the liver to support blood clotting, but also in the bones and vascular system. Vitamin K2 is found in animal products and fermented foods (e.g. natto) [5]. Vitamin D and vitamin K deficiencies contribute to reduced bone mineralization, which can lead to skeletal deformities and osteoporosis. Cramps and tooth decay can also occur [3, 4, 6]. Therefore, a balanced diet and exposure to sunlight are very important to ensure adequate levels of these substances. Dietary supplements are also useful. Vitamin D3 + K2 2000 IU + 100 µg combines natural vitamin D3 (Quali®-D) and highly bioavailable vitamin K2 (K2VITAL®). The MCT oil contained in the supplement is obtained exclusively from the fruit of the coconut palm Cocos nucifera. It contains 2000 IU (50 µg) of vitamin D3 (1000% RWS) and 100 mg of vitamin K2 (133% RWS).
